The 4-Year MD Program

Doctor of Medicine Degree / MD

The 4-Year MD Program (MD Program) is for students who have earned a college/undergraduate degree or at least 90+ Semester hours in an Accredited College/University and have satisfied the Requirements/Prerequisites. The 4-year Program begins with the Basic Sciences Curriculum which spans Five (5) 15-week semesters of Medical Science Curricula in combination with courses covering Clinical Medicine. Once students pass the USMLE Step 1, they may start the Clinical Science Curriculum which includes a series of clinical core classes and electives designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills pertaining to training in clinical skills, patient contact, and medical practice.

The 5.5-Year Pre-Med/MD Program

Doctor of Medicine Degree / MD

The 5.5-Year MD Program (Pre-Med/MD Program) is for students who have graduated from high school and who may have attended college and who will complete the Requirements/Prerequisites as part of their path to medical school for the MD Degree. After all Pre-Med requirements have been met, the Program moves into the Basic Sciences Curriculum which spans Five (5) 15-week semesters of Medical Science Curricula in combination with courses covering Clinical Medicine. Once students pass the USMLE Step 1, they may start the Clinical Science Curriculum which includes series of clinical core classes and electives designed to provide students with the knowledge and skills pertaining to training in clinical skills, patient contact, and medical practice.

Programs include a course each semester in Medicine and Spirituality designed to foster a high standard of values and ethics. Queen's University College of Medicine does not offer Associate AS Degrees or Certificates or short degree programs.
