The Basic Sciences Program involves Four (4) Fifteen-week Semesters (MD1-MD4) of medical science curricula on Campus including Intro to Clinical Medicine each term. Students are evaluated each semester with three (3) Block Exams that include MCQs written in USMLE Step 1 format, emphasizing clinical applications and scenarios.

REQUIRED FOR BASIC SCIENCES PROGRAM
Queen's University College of Medicine secured an Institutional Agreement with KAPLAN™ for required KAPLAN MEDICAL™ for Resources, eBooks, and Lecture Notes via a QUCOM-Licensed Student Account for academic use by Basic Sciences Program students for a required Institutionally-discounted [$500 Annual (USD)] fee. QUCOM students MD1-MD4 are required to be enrolled in QUCOM-Licensed KAPLAN MEDICAL™.
